Hi, hello, hola, g’day — and welcome! We’re Little Herberts, a kids-only hair salon and haircare brand based right here in Perth, Western Australia. This is our world of fun, calm, and confidence-building haircare — designed by parents, for parents.

We know the daily juggle of raising little humans — the mess, the mayhem, the hair tangles! That’s why we created Little Herberts: to make your life just a little easier. Whether it’s 20 minutes of peace while your child enjoys a stress-free haircut in our Perth salon, or the reassurance that you’re using gentle, natural haircare products with no nasties, we’re here to help.

From cool kids’ styles to our bestselling detangling hairbrushes, every part of Little Herberts is designed to make caring for your child’s hair simple, safe, and stress-free.

How Little Herberts Began

Little Herberts started as a tiny idea back in 2017 — born out of necessity when I struggled to find a positive haircut experience for my anxious, haircut-hating toddler.

While raising two boys, working full-time, and supporting my husband at university, I slowly turned that idea into a business. After endless nights of research, renovations, and planning, Little Herberts Kids Hair Salon opened its doors in February 2019. Our mission from day one was to create a space that feels safe, modern, and fun — where kids can feel comfortable and confident, and parents can finally relax.

Growing Through Challenges

Fast forward to 2021 — after navigating COVID-19 lockdowns and all the ups and downs of small business life — we took the next big leap into e-commerce. It was a new adventure full of learning curves, but also an exciting chance to share our passion for kids’ haircare with families all over Australia.

Today, we’re proud to offer a range of child-friendly, chemical-free hair products that we use both in-salon and at home. Every product is chosen and tested with care, ensuring it’s gentle on little scalps and effective for even the trickiest tangles.
