Yes, we specialise in cutting the hair of little people, in fact, that's where our name comes from - 'Little Herberts' is an old English phrase that means 'mischievous child'.
Do you cut baby's hair?
Yes, we do, the youngest baby we've had in the salon was just 2 months old! We of course take extra special care when giving babies their first hair cuts.
My child is anxious about haircuts - what should I do?
Firstly, please don't stress or panic - easier said than done, we know. At Little Herberts you can book them in for either an 'Anxious' or 'Sensory' appointment, both are longer time slots and allow you and your child to settle, it also provides our hairdressers more time to do their haircut. Try and book on one of our quieter days/time of day; a gentle, calm and nurturing environment helps to ease their worried minds as do distractions. Do you cut and style adults hair?
Yes, we do. Even though we focus on hair cuts for children, we also look after Mums and Dads as well as some grandparents. It's often quite a nice thing to do, to get your hair cut at the same time as your child, it shows them that they can trust us and can work as a special bonding moment between you and your child.
