ONLINE STORE TERMS

You understand that your content (excluding credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted across various networks. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer.

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online and may have limited quantities.

Returns and exchanges are subject to our Return Policy.

We make every effort to display product colours and images accurately, however we cannot guarantee your monitor’s display is exact.

We do not guarantee that products, services or information purchased will meet your expectations, or that errors will be corrected.

HAIR APPOINTMENTS, BOOKINGS & CANCELLATION POLICY

This section applies specifically to in-store hair appointments and salon services booked with Little Herberts. It does not apply to online retail product purchases, which are covered separately under our Returns Policy.

Appointment Bookings

When booking an appointment through our online booking system, you agree to the terms outlined in this section. A valid credit card is required to secure your appointment time.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Your child’s comfort and wellbeing are very important to us, and we understand that unexpected situations can arise. However, because appointment times are reserved specifically for you, we respectfully request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or reschedule.

Late Cancellations

Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will result in a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the reserved service(s).

Late Arrivals

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate your appointment, particularly during busy periods.

Where we are unable to proceed due to lateness, the same 100% cancellation fee will apply.

No Shows

If you do not attend your appointment without notice, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the booked service(s) will be charged to the card on file.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that genuine emergencies can occur. We review situations on an individual basis, and in the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, we may consider waiving the cancellation fee at our discretion.

Thank you for your understanding and support — these policies allow us to provide the best possible service and availability for all families.

GIFT CARD TERMS

Little Herberts gift cards may be purchased online or in-store and may be used toward eligible products or salon services unless otherwise stated.

Gift cards:

  • Are not redeemable for cash

  • Cannot be refunded or exchanged

  • Must be treated like cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen

Expiry

Gift cards are valid for three (3) years from the date of purchase, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Use of Gift Cards

Gift cards may be used across multiple transactions until the balance is exhausted. Any unused balance remains available until the expiry date.

SALON SAFETY AND CHILD SUPERVISION

Child Supervision

For the safety and wellbeing of all children, parents and guardians, all children attending appointments or visiting the salon must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Little Herberts staff are trained in working with children, however:

  • We are not able to provide childcare supervision

  • Parents/guardians remain responsible for children before, during, and after services

Safety in Store

Our salon environment contains professional equipment, scissors, styling tools, and products that may pose risks if handled unsafely.

By attending an appointment in-store, you agree to follow staff directions and help ensure a safe environment for all families.

THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Third-party links may direct you to external websites not affiliated with us.

We are not responsible for third-party content, accuracy or transactions.

Please review third-party policies before engaging with them.

USER COMMENTS AND SUBMISSIONS

If you send creative ideas, feedback or submissions, you agree we may use them without restriction.

You agree your comments will not violate third-party rights or contain unlawful or harmful material.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your submission of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to cancel orders if information is inaccurate at any time without notice.

  • Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded

  • You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure

  • You may also be entitled to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage

For services, you are entitled to guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill, and within a reasonable time.

Where a failure does not amount to a major failure, we may offer a repair, replacement or other remedy as required by law.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Little Herberts and its affiliates against any claims arising from your breach of these Terms or violation of law.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain valid.

TERMINATION

These Terms remain effective unless terminated by either party.

We may terminate access if you fail to comply with these Terms.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms and policies posted on this site constitute the entire agreement between you and Little Herberts.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update or replace any part of these Terms by posting changes to our website.
